The bright pink design on the exterior has small, childlike illustrations of hearts, clocks, and framed pictures, along with a drawing of the star mini-princess who twirls inside the box as whimsical wind-up music prominently plays. She stands on a spring and so has the movements of a bobblehead when you give her a light flick with your finger. Behind the mini-princess is a surprisingly high-quality, oval-shaped mirror, and there is a good amount of space within the box to hold jewelry and odds and ends that girls accumulate. The well-made wooden box has a latch in front that is not super secure but probably doesn’t need to be. This is a cute, memorable item that little girls, or perhaps their parents, will want to save into adulthood so they can remember fond childhood memories.
