Great jewelry box for the money – There were a couple of small issues with this jewelry box that kept me from rating it five stars. First, when it arrived I noticed a small gold pin sitting on the packaging. When I removed the box, I saw where it belonged – one of the hinges that attaches the lid to the box was missing this pin and so it was hanging loose. I placed the pin inside the hinge and it works great, although it did work itself loose one time and I had to push it back in. So, now, every once in a while, I just check to make sure it is secure. I wonder who placed that pin there instead of putting it where it belonged. The second issue was that one of the wooden dividers wasn’t settled in properly and it was sticking up so that the drawer wouldn’t open. I pushed it down and it was fine but I wonder why it wasn’t glued in place. That said, this is a great jewelry box and I am quite happy with it. It is made out of real wood, which is rare these days and is very roomy. I have a lot of jewelry I have accumulated over the years and I still have one empty drawer. For the price, this is an excellent box and I would recommend it.
