Earring boxes – The lining to the lid is not secured so it comes apart when you open the box. The box is very attractive but this flaw detracts from its usefulness.

Great for display or presentation – I bought this case for a replica Heart of the Ocean necklace I had purchased separately (see photo). The pendant is huge, so it makes the box look really small, but it fits great. The chain on my necklace is about 20 in. and was far too long for the box, but thankfully the bottom piece is removeable and I just tucked the excess chain length underneath. The hinge seems a little flimsy, but not a problem if you are careful with it. Overall a very elegant way to hold my necklace and show it off to people on occasion.
