The cabinet in white is very modern sleek and goes with most modern, mid century or post modern decor themes. Hollywood Regency, YES, Art Deco = Yes, Mid Mod = Yes. In the other wood finishes it will go with farmhouse, shaker, etc. So it goes with any design theme.

Lights don’t work – So it was easy to hang and get up, but there isn’t a port to plug in the lights?? No battery area either but it’s still very pretty, the lock doesn’t reach the latch but I don’t mind .

actually love it! – Mounted this on the back of my closet door and then left it there for awhile before filling. I wanted to make sure I liked the position, and that it was sturdy. After several weeks, it was still holding strong and zero issues, so then it was time to fill her up! It actually holds most of my jewelry quite well. I do think the necklace space is a bit short, I wish it allowed for longer pieces without overlap, but it will do. Plenty of room for my rings, and my favorite part is that I can add stud earrings without the need to undo the backing to add or remove. This is especially handy with the studs with screw on backs. Some earrings I’m able to double up. The only ones I had issue with were some of my threaders – they were just too heavy on one end to stay in place. I won’t be using this for skincare or makeup, so I’m not sure what I’ll be using the other space for, but no doubt I will come up with a use. The door closes securely without needing to lock it, which I appreciate as I don’t want to have a key hanging off the lock, or try to keep up with a key. The light goes off easily when closing to preserve battery life. I do love that its battery powered as I don’t have outlets in my closet. I also love the interior mirror, as this allows me to see how a pair of earrings or necklace looks without having to close the cabinet door or walk out into my bathroom. The lights are bright and make it easy to see my jewelry. The outer mirror is great for near full length view of outfits while still in the closet. Overall I think this is an awesome cabinet and I’m so glad I was able to install it on the back of my door.
